Goodbye Edmonton! :(

Little tidbit about Edmonton...most cars have damaged windshield that are rarely repaired because it's common to have cracks and chips due to gravel that is spread on snow and ice instead of salt in the winter...which is better, rust or chipped windshields?

Spent our last day with Matthew. Enjoyed a lovely breakfast at D Dutch, a new restaurant across from Matthew's office.it's a first in Edmonton. Apparently, this chain had opened 32  restaurants in BC and they are working their way east. Edmonton,  as many Canadian western cities, seems to be a start up city for restaurant chains.
For dinner, we book ended our visit, we returned to Famoso for another delectable pizza. Then we strolled along Whyte ave. It was a beautiful night!
It was a perfect end to a perfect week! M&A thoughtfully and generously planned every minute our visit. They can now have their room back and a well deserved rest.
It was hard to say goodbye, not knowing when we'll see them again. We are happy for them because this is a new chapter in their lives with so many career opportunities and travel adventures. Their happiness is utmost in our wish for them.
