A nice, lazy morning while Amanda prepared breakfast at the Fairmont. We all met her for lunch and ate at harvest room, the restaurant where she single handedly prepares breakfast for over 100 at a time...daily! W e were treated like royalty. One of Amanda's friends prepared a special treat of figs and goat cheese wrapped in prosciutto laying on a bed of greens, on the house. A decadent lunch...with special company! Savouring our last two days together.
Windy and rainy so we couldn't enjoy the beautiful terrace. So happy we had the opportunity to see it in the sun a couple of days ago.
After lunch, Matthew, norm and I went to explore a new foot bridge in for Edmonton which connects two beautiful neighborhoods in south Edmonton. Had the most delicious Indian food since Varanasi just around the corner from M&A's apartment at the Indian bistro!!!
Just chilling, doing laundry, packing up and enjoying my Matthew's and Amanda's company for our last day together before we continue on the next leg of our journey. <3 Will miss them sooo much!!!
