We left Eureka as early as possible and headed to Novato, California...DMKIT...Dale, Matt, Kingston, Isla and Tasso's house, just 30 minutes north of San Fran.
We managed to scoop our Dale and went out for a sushi lunch.it was a perfect setting for catching up. It's been almost one whole year since we've seen her in person. She is beautiful as always!
After lunch we picked up Kingston and Isla from school. They have grown into teenagers...it seems. They are so mature for 2 and almost 5.
We didn't want to pounce on them, so we gave them a chance to re familiarize themselves with gramma and grampa. It didn't take long. Grampa and Kingston played lacrosse, baseball, football and basketball and Dale helped gramma and Isla connect with nail polish...it felt so happy and comfortable.
Kingston is a huge fan of Alex Honnold mountain climber who was featured on 60 minutes.he climbs mountains without ropes...Kingston can state many facts about mountains, about this hero and all super heroes! And little isla, participates in all conversations that you might believe would exclude little people. She is sharp and funny.
Looking forward to what this week will bring.
Hope you are all coping with the heat and storms. Thanks for the updates.
Oh..sorry for the confusing order of ourposts.it all depends on how and when Wi-Fi connects with my phone. Should be steady this week.
