A wonderful couple of days.
Our guide, Kingston, led us on a hike up Burdell Mountain. It was a hot 2 1/2 climbing hike but everyone survived...Including Tasso, who had us worried for a bit.
The San Fran clan invited their very good friends over to meet the grandparents...us.....it was nice to meet the family that is one of the many reasons DMKI love San Fran so much.
I've been looking forward for a whole year to go out on our mother and daughter, girl's date. It was the perfect time, while Kingston went to a friend bowling birthday party with daddy and grandpa waited for little isla to wake up from her nap and they had their special date. Following a mani pedi, we enjoyed a nice Indian buffet in downtown Novato. I really miss spending time with my doll. In the evening, Dale packed a picnic dinner and we drove to Stinson Beach. It was so wonderful to watch the children enjoy the ocean. What a spectacular setting! I wonder if you would ever tire of the ocean.
Frolicking in the waves with little isla,(she is fearless and so fun), took me back 30 years...And I realized why we are blessed with beautiful grandchildren....it is to give us the joy of reliving the wonderful times we had with our children.
We are all home now...exhausted but happy to be together.
