So we left Seattle, a favourite, then headed towers Portland...We were waiting to see if it would tug at our hearts enough to stay overnight...nah..but we did stop and enjoy a meal from the food truck square...Matthew, had to laugh at some similarities to portlandia. Hipsters, interesting bikes...
Food was delicious...We are sharing most meals to save on money and calories.
We drove through Siuslaw National Forest in Oregon as we headed for the coast...ended up in Lincoln city at the Starfish Hotel. Empty, so we got a very good rate with a view of the ocean for $79... unheard of..no Wi-Fi. :( Had a lovely dinner at Mazatlan a cute Mexican restaurant. The weather along the coast is probably the coldest place on earth at this moment. We were freezing..
Foggy this morning but still incredible sights. We are sitting in a cute cottage coffee house that had Wi-Fi!!!
Will let you know what happens next.We aren't sure yet.
